Demigods LLC and Thirteen22 would like to formally invite you to the launch of their next campaign, "I am a Demigod".  

“This effort to help the homeless is very much aligned with the Demigod brand and mission, taking inspiration from the original Demigods, some of which were great heroes and did great things for their people and their communities,” said Edward Smith, Demigod LLC Arts Director.  “We believe that every citizen can be a hero in their own way, and our goal is to have our campaign give them the opportunity to help change their community of Washington, D.C.”

The event will feature DJ Spinser Tracy in Smith Commons’ third floor event space, with cash bar featuring Ommegang Brewery as the event beer partner, complimentary appetizers, and small plates from Chef Carlos Delgado until 10:00pm. “Smith Commons is proud to be a partner for this event and to contribute in a way that will result in changing perspectives about homelessness, in the very least, and to encourage support and participation of our guests to help make a difference,” said Miles Gray, Managing Partner of Smith Commons.

National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness week is organized nationally by the National Coalition for the Homeless, and locally through many student body populations, and through organizations such as Miriam’s Kitchen, just one of the organizations to which Demigods LLC and Thirteen22 will be focusing their contribution efforts. The campaign includes drives for unused warm clothing for clients of Miriam’s Kitchen, and mass volunteerism calls to action for the DC Area Food Bank.
